Sanne Meijet of the Netherlands, the reigning E&A titlist, extended her reign to a global scale by topping the girls’ event. Germany’s Vanessa Weinhauer, the runner-up in the E&A, repeated her silver performance in the Clark competitions, while Lottie Harbottle, the No. 2 in the British Nationals, took the bronze.

Like Meijet, Europe-Africal prince Hegadus Akos added the prestigious title of boys’ world champion to his resume. Akos bested Britain’s top two riders, Harry Eames and reigning British champ Ryan Peacock, for the plum.

Frenchman Raphael Menconi duplicated his fellow E&A champions’ feat by ruling the masters division at the worlds, dislodging 2010 champ Wolfram Wagner of Germany for the title. Great Britain’s Lee Mart took third place.

In wakeskate, Israel’s Ori Boujo (junior ladies) and France’s Clément De Prémonville  (junior men’s) reigned supreme.

Boujou defeated Jaimi Oxlade of Australia and Sophie Cordery of Great Britain for the tiara while De Prémonville  stamped his class on two German rivals, Moritz Thiele and Marcel Tilwitz.

DiRT SHOWDOWN ASIAN TOURNAMENT!

PHILIPPINES, JULY 4, 2012 – The search for Asia’s ultimate Gymkhana video game racer will kick off in Philippines on August 4 and 7, with a Manila leg at Ayala Trinoma and a Cebu leg at Ayala Center Cebu respectively.

Organised by DC, in conjuction with EpicSoft, and CodeMasters, the DiRT SHOWDOWN Asian Tournament will move from Malaysia to Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia thereafter.

Winners from these countries will be flown to Singapore to compete in the grand finals where the overall champion will be revealed.

The game play is simple – contestants will compete head-to-head on the Xbox game in a fast-paced match to score the points by doing Gymkhana tricks while maneuvering the race track.

The player who scores the most points in the shortest time possible wins and advances to the next round.

Rocket! to the LIFE PATH

Last August 5th our country Philippines got caught up with a typhoon, most of the locals living in the metro were highly affected by it. Flood was the major scene being delivered by this typhoon and most of the area being affected by it was terribly devastated with tears and lost hope. 

 Eight people were dead while nearly 90,000 were displaced as Typhoon Helen moved out of the Philippines and heads towards the southeastern coast of China, Thirteen roads and eight bridges in Luzon Island, northern Philippines remain unpassable owing to massive floods brought by Helen. The typhoon also damaged homes, farmlands and crops.

Lateral Drift Philippines initiated the courage and heart to bring hope to the locals, the production team headed by Charlie Cruz and supported by the Autocraft Drift Team together with the CS Studio made a warm response in this disastrous happening and converted the ROUND 2 Lateral Drift event into a charity works. The rejoinder of the masses ended a monstrous love by giving support to it. 

The production gave an opportunity to the drift enthusiast for them to experience a ride of their life time, for them to enjoy this enthusiast must pay an amount of P250.00 per head. All proceeds of this are being donated to the specific organization who conducts the relief operation.

Any medium can be use to channel in support and blessing to one another this response of the moment was life, no incidents can slow down any person with the heart to take heed and channel in blessing for the people. This typhoon happening has just made the drifting community stronger and intact to one another.

R! Lateral Drift PH - ROUND 1

This is why it’s Drifting Motorsport is more fun in the Philippines, July 28 2012 was a king size meal for the adrenaline junkies in our drifting scene.  The 1st round of Lateral Drift Series has started and delivered tons of excitement and stupendous act of bravery equipped with hype and intense as they go sideways action in the created race track module at Quirino Grandstand, Metro Manila. 

The heat of the 1st round of this series was a major opener for each participant. It was a chief jumpstart for them to start the season.  Primarily every participants started the contest with warm up runs then proceeding to the qualifying. This moment is the enrty point of the action and drama as they focus the execution for the stroke in the track.

“It’s like this is it! This is my moment of going high speed in sideways and Im loving it! (it’s like eating the best hamburger in town sensation ;p)

After nailing the turns and run, again the reigning Philippine Champion Audel Sison a.k.a “#Dr.Drift” does it again! And this time it is #HUGE! His heavenly machine #JAWBONE performed so well and now in high active response. The level of the machine may now be compared with #Formula Drift standards, in this victory all above else the champion is still humbled by the grace and love of the Father above.
